Maple Syrup Cake

Description

A delicious dessert with a hint of maple flavor.

1 c

sugar

1 c

syrup

egg

1⁄2 c

shortening

1 c

sour milk

1 t

baking soda

1⁄4 t

cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg

3 c

flour

Combine above ingredients, pour into two 8-inch diameter cake pans. Bake at 350º for 35-40 min. until the toothpick is clean.
